The nerve

Ive been the bad guy in my "relationship" for years.Probably as long as I've been in it,not that I really think about it.Yet I'm the first person my former comes to for help.And this one is a doozy. Normally it's something vehicle related,as she and alot of her family drive vehicles made by the company I work for.Sometimes it's tech help,or a phone number or something of the like,but not like this one.Well,OK this has happenned before,but it's while we were together,or at least under the same roof(whole different story altogether) Earlier this year,we had our final straw,last hurrah,call it what you will.Court was in session,lawyers were paid,deals were made.But the main point is,I was done.It's time to move on.Yes you're the mother of my children,but you aren't my child,or connected to me by any other way,so I owe you nothing.I'm moving on. And that does not mean that because you're not living here,it doesn't mean you can offer my roof to your long lost sister that decided to climb out of the woodworks with her two kids.And then get mad when I say "no",sorry...NO!!!Wait,I'm not sorry.Why? The number one reason is obvious,so I dont need to.Or do I? Lets see.This sister lived under my roof already,about 7 years back.And then just up and vanished.And lets see,she did it again a few months ago to another relative she was staying with because she didnt want to stay with the obvious relatives,because she hates them.And the reasoning of..."but she could help you with the kids.Pick them up from school,daycare,clean,and cook" doesn't work because she may up and bail again,and,and,and,and...She doesnt have a car,or license.So wait,what?Hows that supposed to work again? SHe's gonna help me,when she cant even help herself?But She isnt the issue.The issue is....Im the bad guy,the asshole.Everytime you've left,I've been the reason.And it's always been some massively inflated incident,that was turned in your favor.But being realistic,we've all doctored stories before.But you're gonna offer the roof you you DON'T live under any longer,to the sister who's abandoned you,how many times already?To live with the guy who's done you wrong how many times? WOW,the Nerve!!!

Friend Zone

I was on my way back from LAX this mornig and while listening to the radio...I heard a guy talking about the "Friend Zone"

Now we have all been in the dreaded Friend zone at one point in our lives,probably more than once.And we let outselves stay there for one reason and one reason only..that glimmer of hope that almost every Cameron Diaz,Julia Roberts or Jennifer Aniston movie shows us...Eventually we will get out of it..But most times more than not.

But anyhow...I know this girl..and she is a very attractive young lady,fuh show.And she has many guys in the FZ.And she's married.Now I know she is an attention hound..but still having a bunch of guys in the FZ will do you no good..especially when they all have your cell number or are your friends on myspace.The biggest danger in being friends with someone who is attracted to you..is that they are attraced to you and will take whatever attention they can get...be it a chatroom,page posting,text back,lunch,having a drink at a bar..whatever.And it can come back to bite you.

What happens if said friend goes and talks about his great lunch date to a friend,who knows the other's other.Anger jealously and mistrust abound..right?And that friend will have wrecked your relationship.Now this girl I know has had it happen many times,and yet she still keeps going..why..because"I am going to have my friends no what they say."And while true..maybe you should keep the interaction between yourself and this friend to a minimum if you want to make your marraige work.

That is just one example..I'm sure we all have friends that are in the FZ,known and unknown.

Should we change the way we interact with the known FZ'ers?Maybe because they may get the wrong idea and something worse may happen?Or they may post something on FB or MS,and they other may see it,and arguments may occur..

or should they just stay in the zone as a backup?

Now he gets off work at 5...so figure he went to bed the latest at 12,maybe 1.Soo 6 times in 7 hours..and then once in the morning as well.

Digital DVD's

I hate this new trend..I really do.Remember when you could buy a special limited collectors 2 disc dvd set and not have to fork out extra money for a digital copy?

The last 2 DVD's I bought,which were "Up" and "Star Trek" both had 2 disc digital versions.

Now I love DVD extras..Deleted scenes,making of's..commentaries,not really.And I just want to be able to buy the DVD and not get that digital copy.

When I bought Star Trek,I had a great idea.I'll sell the digital copy.When I bought "Nightmare before Xmas",the digital copy was on it's own separate disc,I figured why not go through all the digital versions Ihave and sell them on EBAY.I haven't used them so the code is still good.

But when I opened Star Trek,the digital version of the film is embedded into the second disc with all the extras..SHIT!!there goes that idea.

Oh well I guess I gotta put up with it,or just buy the barebones versions with no extras except for maybe a commentary track.

1 year older

Yesterday was my Birthday..37 with a bullet!!

I spent the day at Disneyland with my 2 older children.Had a great time.Got to ride all ther hings I don't get to ride when I take the 1 year old.

I got to take a bunch of pictures.

I didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for any ride!

I went to Tom Saywers Island,which I have never been to.

My son was picked to be a Jedi!

All around fun!!!

I work in the auto industry at a Ford dealer,and have numerous crazy mutherfuckers around me all day long.And they have some good soundbites and stories..let me tell you.
